AVE MARIA UNIVERSITY Department of Theology invites applications for an Assistant Professor in biblical, moral, or dogmatic theology to begin in Fall 2024. The successful candidate will demonstrate both speculative engagement with the truth of the Catholic faith and a knowledge of the philosophical resources theologians draw upon in relating the truth of faith to human reason. Ph.D. or S.T.D. required at time of appointment. Adherence to the teachings of the Catholic Church and willingness to apply for the Mandatum are required. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of pedagogical and scholarly excellence. The position typically includes teaching core classes in theology as well as more advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
